Levi Recently

Introduction

Hi everyone! Today I wanted to share some photos of Levi this week. I take a lot of photos of him in general but I felt like this week I took some extra fun photos that would be cool to share. I hope you enjoy!

The first photo was taken while I was working. This chair is Levi’s favorite and while I work he spends most of his time looking out the window and napping. This photo is also the perfect example of Levi’s nickname ”Smush”. I mean, look at his neck and face, he just looks like a smush.

The next photo was taken today while it was rainy. Now I have to admit that I never wanted to dress my dog in clothes but for Levi I do it because it’s necessary. When it’s cold or he’s wet he will full on shiver. He doesn’t actually complain but his entire body will tremble and his tail will be low or between his legs. His proportions also make it difficult to find a coat that fits well so here we are with a bright yellow coat on. When I took this photo it was like 40°F and rainy and he was still shivering. We quickly took this photo and then ran inside.

This next photo was taken at the park the other day. I take Levi to a sports park so it has numerous fields and this one playground. There was no one around so I decided to take Levi to the playground and have him walk up the steps. One of the trainers I worked with mentioned that this kind of exercise could help to build and maintain trust. I gave him instructions from the ground as he went up and down the steps. I also gave him a few random commands like telling him to sit or lie down and I couldn’t resist taking a couple of photos during it.

This last photo was also taken at the sports park but we were on one of the baseball fields. Levi knows the command “place” where you point to what you want him to sit or lie down on and I like to practice with random objects. I only have him go to place on objects that he can manage and are safe for him so the baseball bases are always a good option. Since they’re also elevated it’s easier for him to differentiate between the ground and the object.

Conclusion

That’s all for now on recent photos of Levi! I hope you enjoyed reading my blog and seeing the pictures!
